Hi Jerry, I apologize for not getting in touch with you sooner. Thanks for all you are doing to make our 50th reunion a special event. I look forward to seeing everyone again. I love the website! It brings back alot of great memories. To update you a little, our home address is still the same but our phone number is 307-332-5352 and our email address is dktaylor@wyoming.com I'm sending you a couple of photos because we don't have a scanner.
Following is a brief biography of the last 25 years. Of course, like
everyone else I could write alot but I won't. Hope to see or hear from you
soon. We all had a good life in Payson didn't we?
The past 25 years have been great for us. We've had all 7 of our children
graduate from college, marry in the temple and bless us with 37 grandchildren.
After our family was raised, I decided I needed something to do. I
worked in a women's dress shop as clerk and then manager for about 3 years.
Then I worked 8 years in a bank as a Customer Service Representative. I enjoyed
meeting new people. When my husband decided to retire, I did too. We served a
2 year mission in England which was great. Then we served as ordinance workers
in the Ogden
Temple for 2 years. Last year,2002, we were called to serve 6 months in Nauvoo,
Illinois as temple missionaries in the new rebuilt Nauvoo Temple. It doesn't
get any better than that, at least for us. We were guides during the Open House
for 2 months, then helped during the dedications. We were among the first
ordinance workers in this special temple.
We are now enjoying being home for a while and spending time with family. Our children live in Dallas, Texas, SanJose Calif, Boise, Idaho, and Layton, Lehi and Delta, Utah so you see we have to travel quite a bit to see them.
I am now the director of the Family History Library here in Lander. It's a new experience and I am learning alot. We have always been busy in many different callings in the Church.
Our future plans are to enjoy life! We will do some traveling and visit
family and friends. We plan a trip back to England and who knows, maybe another
mission.

Here are the pictures I told you I would send. Do you remember the black and white? It was taken when I lived in the basement house on the hill. It think it was my 8th birthday party. See how cute you were! Sorry to say I'm the somber one. It makes for good memories anyway. Note the car in the background. That really dates us.
