Good to hear from you and to find out that you are still on the top side of the grass. Since I am writing to you, this may give you an indication that I have no E-Mail

My phone is 509-946-6381 and the address you have is correct 1731 Birch, Richard Washington 99352.

I married a girl from Benjamin, Utah. Her name - Betty Downey, class of 1957, Spanish Fork. We have three children, two boys and a girl. My oldest is forty and my youngest is 29. I have three grandchildren from my oldest, Kenny; two grandchildren from Stacey, my middle, and my youngest, Jason is not married and is enjoying his fishing and hunting.

After high school, I worked at Geneva Steel for five years and picked up a couple of years of school at BYU. Did not receive a degree. I spent a couple of years in the Army, stationed at Fort Ord, California and Fort Lewis Washington. After my discharge, I worked for Hercules Powder Company in Salt Lake City for four years.

In 1966 I got a job in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Job Corps Center for Women. I stayed there until 1970. In July 1970, I got a job offer to work for Computer Sciences corp in Richard., Washington. This company contracted to work for the Atomic Energy Commission which is now the Department of Energy. I have worked around nuclear reactors at the Hanford Site ever since. I have been told I have a glowing personality, but it’s really the radiation glow.

I retired in 1996, went on a church mission working in the Regional Storehouse in Kennewick, Washington.

I play golf 4-5 times a week and carry a six handicap. I enjoy this game very much. I also play my clarinet a couple times a month at retirement centers here in the area. I bought several CD’s with background music which makes for an enjoyable experience.

It’s good that you have taken the lead to start this reunion. Be looking forward to seeing you at the Big "50".

Best regards, Cliff Cartrwright
