I met Dan Hall graduation night. We had several dates during the summer and then Dan was called on a mission. The following fall, Nora Throckmorton and I moved to Casper Wyoming into an apartment and worked there for six months. Our work experience ended suddenly because our apartment caught on fire while we were at work and we had to move back home.

I lived at home until Dan returned from his mission and we were married. We have been married for 47 years. We have 5 children, two boys and 3 girls. We also had an Indian Placement Student in our home for 4 years. We have 14 grandchildren.

We moved to Santaquin while Dan graduated from BYU.  We then moved to Park City for 3 years while he taught in the High School.  We then moved to American Fork when he accepted a job as a Technical Writer for Sperry ( now Unisys) in Salt Lake.

During the 35 plus years in American Fork, I was very busy as a homemaker and worked in the American Fork Developmental Center for 13 years after my family got older.  Dan retired from Unisys having worked for them for 35 years.

We enjoy a yearly family outing to Flaming Gorge with our children and grandchildren. We have a large yard and I enjoy my summers taking care of my flowers. We also enjoy our grandchildren and try to keep up with some of their activities.

We both have been active in the LDS church with a variety of callings.  We enjoy traveling and camping with our family and friends.
