Hey!

Sorry, I have been out of touch for a while. I am honored that our classmates are interested in what has been happening in my life. I will send you (soon) some greater details of what has been happening in my life over the past 50 years. Wow! That is hard to type let alone think about. (smile)

Just a note on the most recent challenge in my life. I was diagnosed with cancer in late October. It was a major shock, since my health has been outstanding over the years. The short version… It is Stage 1AE (early detection and confined to my neck). I will write more about this in my update, as it is remarkable. I have been greatly blessed. This is the type that usually does not spread. Three to four chemotherapy sessions and then monitoring down the road for the rest of my life. The chemo has been completed, and in the process I have lost 30 pounds plus and, of course all my hair. They say I look like President Hunter, to give you an idea of the new look. (smile) I have had just outstanding support from Aloha, family and friends. l am doing better, gradually trying to regain my weight and strength. I'll be in touch within the week.

Jerry, Thanks for all you are doing to make this reunion the BEST EVER!

James
