Fifty Years!  How time flies when you are having fun!

In our lifetime we have seen many, many new inventions and advancements plus the world has changed remarkably.

Monte and I have enjoyed a great marriage.  We started in Provo and have lived in Syracuse, NY and Sunnyvale, CA - during the Bay Area Silicon Valley boom.  We retired to Orem twelve years ago.

We have six children - five sons - all Eagle Scouts and returned missionaries, and one beautiful daughter.  I was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom, and was able to help at the children's schools.   I also volunteered at the Utah Valley Hospital.  We have been blessed with twenty grandchildren - aren't grandchildren wonderful?

Monte and I have had good health although I did have cancer thirteen years ago, but I survived the chemotherapy and am doing really well at this time.

The church has been an important part of our lives.  I have served in the Young Women program for many years, and I have been counselor and Relief Society President a couple of times.  Monte has been Bishop and served as a counselor in the stake presidency.

We served as leadership missionaries in the England Leeds Mission.  What a super experience to see people come unto Christ.  Our second mission was to the Washington, D.C. Temple to serve as temple missionaries.  We loved this opportunity to be in the Lord's house every day.

We have been able to travel a bit throughout our marriage.  We love California and all the gorgeous scenery.  We now are enjoying the beautiful state of Utah with all it's state and national parks.  What a gorgeous country we live in!  We enjoyed England and were able to see a variety of beautiful scenery and a lot of different lifestyles.  Washington, D.C. and the surrounding area is still one of our favorite places.  We are so grateful for our wonderful USA!   We've had good times in Israel, Japan, Korea, Germany, and Mexico in our various travels.

Each winter we go to St. George to enjoy the warmer weather.  It's another beautiful area where we golf and enjoy the desert and our many wonderful friends.

Not one of our children live in Utah, so our life always seems busy traveling to our grandchildren's activities.  But families are what fills our lives with joy.

We are planning to attend the reunion.  Thanks to everyone who is helping with the plans.
