LaRita and I have lived at this address in Orem for 36 years. During this time I was employed by the Alpine School District as a high school teacher. I taught drafting at Orem High School until 1980 and then transferred to Mountain View High School. I retired in 1996 after teaching for 39 years. During this time I worked for Meadow Gold in Orem for 30 summers.
We have enjoyed our callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After retiring we served 18 month in the Florida Tampa Mission, from July 1996 through the middle of December 1997, our second mission was at the M.T.C. in Provo for 22 months in the Interpretation Dept. from May 1998 to March 2000. After being home for a few months we were called to the Minnesota, Minneapolis Mission for one year-- spending the last three months in Thunder Bay, Canada. This mission was from January of 2001 to mid December 2001. Those were some of the highlights of the past 50 years.
We have been married for 48 years. We have 6 children, and 37 grandchildren. Times just keeps flying by.
