Dear Jerry
Thanks very much Jerry for the excellent job that you have done in
creating the web-site and keeping us up-to-date with our 1953 graduating class.
I have enjoyed learning about the accomplishments of our class-mates. Small
towns are great for producing good people.
We are living in Salt Lake serving a mission for the church, and will
return to our Boise home in Oct. I served a mission in Western Canada just
after we were married; Lorraine lived with her parents while I was gone. This
September we will have been married 49 years. We have four children, 20
grandchildren and one great grandchild that bless our lives.
We lived in Cleveland, Ohio for ten years and have been in Boise for the
last thirty. Serving the Lord has been our first priority, and I've been
fortunate to serve in a wide variety of callings: bishop, counselor in the
mission presidency, counselor in two stake presidencies, and then served ten
years as stake president. I've been active in various civic activities, and
enjoyed serving for many years in scouting. I was presented the Silver Beaver
by the Ore-Ida counsel.
The insurance business has been my employment for 45 years where I have my
own independent agency. I achieved the CLU and ChFC degrees, and have served a
large client base.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone.
We are
presently on a mission for the church, but plan to attend the reunion. We
received your Christmas card and the request for information, and I'll be
sending it in soon with some pictures. Thank you for all your work in bringing
our class together for what I' m sure will be a great time.
I have lost the address for the Payson High web site. How about E-Mailing me
with the address and instructions to get online and see all that is going on
with class members.
Thank you Looking forward to hearing from you
