Jack (Shell) and I have
lived in Arizona for the passed ten years. I love
it here. The jury is still out on Jack's opinion! We are trying to move
back to our Centerville Home some time this year. We travel to Utah several
times each year, but Arizona would be the best place to reach us right now.
Our two addresses and phone numbers are:

Upon graduation from Payson High School, I attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah for two quarters. After leaving Snow, I enlisted in the U.S.A.F. and served for two years. After my discharge from the Air Force, I enrolled at BYU and graduated in 1958 with a major in Sociology and a minor in History, along with a teaching certificate.
I worked at North American Aviation in Los Angeles, California for a year and a half, and then returned to BYU to start work on a Master’s Degree. Upon returning to BYU, Provo School District asked me to replace a teacher, who became ill, at Farrer Junior High just before school started.
I have been involved in education ever since. I taught high school in Orem for one year, married in 1961 and moved to Bountiful where my wife, Jeanne, and I both taught at Bountiful Junior High School. I taught U.S. History for seven years, obtained my Masters in Ed. Psychology and was given a counseling job at Millcreek Junior High School. I worked in counseling for three years and was offered an N.D.E.A. Fellowship at the University of Wyoming to work on a Ph.D. Degree. My family and I moved to Wyoming for a year and a half while I went to school, majoring in Ed. Psychology, Psychology, and Educational Administration. While there, I received an Ed. Spec. Degree in 1971 and completed all class work for a Ph.D.
Returned to Bountiful, Utah, at the end of 1971, and worked for one year at Bountiful High as School Psychologist. Employed as Assistant Principal at Millcreek Junior High School and transferred that same year to Viewmont High School as Vice Principal and worked in that capacity for seven years.
In July of 1978, employed by the State of Utah to develop a new technical school, Davis Applied Technology Center, for secondary and adult students in Kaysville, Utah. Worked as Superintendent there until 1992, when I retired in Utah with 33 years in education. Enrollment at DATC exceeded 7,000 Students.
In 1992, employed by East Valley Institute of Technology (E.V.I.T.) in Mesa, Arizona as Superintendent. Worked there for eight years and developed a $46 million dollar campus for technical training of secondary and adult students with an enrollment of over 5,000 students. Retired in 1990 with eight years in Arizona making a total of 41 years as an educator.
Called to serve in the Mesa Temple as an ordinance worker.
Early in 2002, started moving back to Utah to spend summers and winters in Arizona.
