Fifty years!!! Don't know about you - but I don't feel anywhere near old enough to be looking at a 50 year reunion!
I tried to get the website up - without success. I'll be at the reunion for sure, If I can help in anyway, just let me know.
June and I enjoy family, church, and living in the Washington DC area. I'm ashamed to say that I tried retirement twice and couldn't stand it - I don't get involved much in running the day-to-day of the business, but really enjoy what I'm doing.
How about you?
Regards,
Bob

Picking up from information furnished for the 25th reunion, still happily married to June Ann Fullmer (class of ’55). Couple of more years and we will have been married for fifty years and I can honestly say I’ve enjoyed every minute of it (well all most!). We’ve lived in the Washington DC area for almost thirty years – same house for over twenty years. Our four children are long since married and have families of their own. Our oldest son, Steve, lives in California ( I see him fairly often enjoying him and his family – and a round of golf when I’m there). Our two middle kids – Dennis and David both live a few miles from us, so we enjoy their families very much. When our daughter Debbie and her husband got married, both from here, decided they wanted to live in Utah. They live in Salt Lake and have two kids. So all together we have added to our family three great daughters in law, one son in law and twelve grandchildren.
The LDS church continues to be central to our lives and brings us great joy. Having lived in the “mission field” most of our married lives, June and I have had lots of opportunity to serve in wards and branches and remember home teaching districts spanning hundreds of mile. The church in the Washington DC area has grown steadily over the year – we have over twenty stake and three missions. During the time June and I have served in the Washington DC Temple (twenty years) our temple district has contracted geographically several times as new temples are built from the entire east coast including some of Canada and as far west as - to a few hundred miles around Washington DC. – yet the church membership population served by the temple has increased!
My sons have had the opportunity to serve in bishoprics and high councils – When I go to church, people refer to me as Brother Windley’s father – another reminder of where I am in life!!
June and I both do a couple of shifts per week at the Washington DC Temple. I received the sealing power from President Monson a dozen years ago and have had the opportunity to officiate at hundreds of sealings and wedding. It a great joy to me and a constant reminder of the source of Priesthood power. June serves as an ordinance worker with various leadership responsibilities and I’m currently the sealing coordinator for the temple.
Twenty-five years ago, I was serving as a Vice President of Martin Marrietta (Now Lockheed Martin). Left there to become a Principal and Booz Allen & Hamilton (a management consulting company). After about six years at Booz, the travel got to me – I had practices in Mexico and Europe – Thought I would try golf full time – that didn’t work, so went back to work. We have a firm (Interactive Systems, Inc.) which has subsidiaries doing large computer outsourcing, another doing computer maintenance, one doing software and services for the non-profit industry, and an automated document factory. I really enjoy what I doing – I suspect the only things that would stop me would be a mission for the church – or the grave. (Had a couple of small heart attacks – a little over weight – but feel really good!!!)
Our lives are full of activity. We do a couple of shifts at the temple, I play golf two or three times per week – depending on the weather, try very hard not to travel, work every day (not week-ends), enjoy the family and being with June Ann.
Can you believe fifty years have gone by – I still remember losing all those football games, being in the dance review for Clara – and hitting the juniors on the rear-end with a wet towel!!! –the only thing better is today and looking forward to seeing you all in Payson.
God Bless
