After graduating from high school, I attended B.Y.U. and studied geology, chemistry, math, physics, and archaeology. After graduation I went back and got a teaching certificate. I taught high school science and math for 33 years, 4 years in Price, Utah and 29 years in Nephi. In the summers I worked the family ranch.

When I was 23 I was baptized into the L.D.S. church by Brother Dunford and have been active ever since.

I was married to Renee Jackson in August of 1961. We are parents of five children (four living) and eight grandchildren.

I retired in 1993. At that time I became active with the Tintic Historical Society and the Utah Statewide Archaeology Society. I also spend more time working at the ranch.

I am enclosing four pictures. I am looking forward to a great reunion.

Sincerely, Jay L. Woodard
