Feb 4th.   I think I may have lost a couple of notes that I posted recently.   (Senior Moments)  If you notice that there's any lost data or pictures on anyone's webpage, please let me know.   I'll try to recover them and put them back, but that will have to wait.  Carole and I leave tomorrow for the Maldives - go to www.google.com and type in Maldives - you'll find a wealth of information about this group of 1200 islands located south of the southern tip of India.   It's reported to be great diving and we look forward to a wonderful month there on a dive boat called Sea Spirit.   I'll take lots of pictures and post them when I get back.   God Bless America!

Feb 3.   From Dan Seat.  I have located Leon Jensen.  He is living in Payson and still has a farm or ranch in Goshen.  He retired from Geneva and is now driving school bus.  You can contact him in Payson.  His mailing address is : Leon Jensen 628 S 400 West Payson UT 84651 (801) 465-5138      I talked to him for a while, and indicated you would probably contact him by phone or mail.

I finally found Laurence Gilson.  He is living in Price, Utah.  I just talked to his wife.  He is hard of hearing and can't communicate over the phone.  His address is:   611 S 1750 East, Price UT 84501 (435) 637-4971   He doesn't have an internet address, but his son or son-in-law does.  I gave his wife the Payson High web site address.  You may want to either call him (his wife) or mail him at the above address.   Will continue to be a detective for missing people.  As ever, Dan Seat    GREAT JOB Dan...!!      Hey, how about some of you "Utah" people getting in touch with Laurence and Leon and see if we can't get them interested in coming to the reunion.   Please keep me posted on your results.   Thanks much!!

Correction to Jane Pulver Hammond's email.   It's  JaneyNeil@Bigzoo.net (note the "net"  NOT "com")

Joyce Wilson sent in her bio and suggestions for the reunion:  "How about a nice steak fry at the Golf Course - catered - a short program - and then socialize.  I talked to Erma and she liked the Golf Course idea even if it might be a little crowded.  Jack thought it would only hold 65.

Dec 15th.   Merry Christmas!!!     I sent out a Christmas card asking (begging) for those of you who have not done so, to send in your bios and pictures so that we can make the website as complete as possible.   I've spoken to Bernie Stanton several times and he's working on getting a committee together for the reunion.   We're still on for Labor Day weekend (August 29 - September 1st).   If you have suggestions, comments or questions please get in touch with Bernie at BStanton77@aol.com phone 702-454-1631

In spite of the difficulties that we've faced the past year, I personally believe that we, as a country, are better off today that we were a year ago.  We are recognizing our strengths and weaknesses and are working to make our freedom stronger and safer.

I wish each and every one of you happiness and good health in the coming year.    God bless us all.     Jerry

Oct 16.   Bio from Dennis Hill.

Robert Huber checks in to let us know that the "Fawn" in the Taylor School 5th Grade is Fawn Harding.   Sadly, he also reports:  Another name to add to the list of deceased is Neil Manwill   Says Robert:  "He dropped out of school long before finishing and joined the army.  He was killed in 1955 when the United Airlines DC-6 he was on hit Medicine Bow Peak in Wyoming. I think the 1955 date is correct but it may have been 1956.   Marion, since you worked for United do you remember the date?  There was an article in the Salt Lake Tribune earlier this year which discussed the crash and he was simply listed as being from Payson.  He lived somewhere on the north west side of Payson so he mostly went to the Taylor school."  Robert also  forwarded a group photo of our 1977 25th Reunion.

Oct 15  Check out Bio & great picture from Maureen Taylor and husband Richard.

Oct 4   Got Bios from Robert Huber and this from Gay Deuel Young:  "I called Victor Johnson's cousin and talked to the cousin's wife.  As far as she knew Victor was still alive but she wasn't sure about it at all.  She said to call another cousin in Payson but he didn't have a phone.   She said the last she knew of Victor he was living in Park City."   Marion Bean Karchner, Jane Pulver Hammond and Robert Huber have all pitched in with names for the Taylor School Class Photos, but we still have some missing names...   Anybody else have any thoughts?

Sept 27  New Bio and great family picture from Jane Pulver Hammond.  Check it out...   Jane has also sent us some wonderful pictures from the Taylor School - Class Photos for First, Third and Sixth Grade.   Now we need help in identifying all of those cute kids.   Please email me at JerryL3515@aol.com

Sept 26   We're back!   Had a wonderful time diving in Indonesia.   We stopped for a few days Hong Kong and went into China to do some work and then down to Singapore - finally flying to Manado in northern Sulawesi.   We spent two wonderful weeks with friends on a dive boat diving the northern islands and then went to a land resort called Kungkungan Bay Resort (honest!), where there are lots of tiny critters that are nearly impossible to find anywhere else - some of them just blew our mind.   I'll get some pictures posted soon.

Got a nice email and update from Barry Chandler - check it out.   Talked to Norman Cox today, he's getting all pumped up about the Elk Hunt, and told me that he'd been up to Wyoming to visit with Layne Balzly.   Layne broke his hip some time ago in a boating accident and is having some problems healing.  We all wish him well.

Aug 25  I'm leaving on an extended trip to Asia and Indonesia tomorrow.  See you all after Sept 22nd.   Jerry

Aug 1    Email from Fearn Vest - New E-mail address: FearnAndAnna@msn.com    We’ve been in Colo. Camping and helping our Son move.    While we were in  Alabama previously I lost the hard drive so my computer has been rebuilt but I lost all my contacts so I’m starting over again.   I’ll get back with you later.

July 31 -   Gay Deuel reports that the following regarding classmates that have passed away.   "Have been going through the biographies of the classmates - got as far as the "J's".  Realize that you do not have Marie Johnson Limb listed as deceased.  She passed away a few years ago. . . . Ditto for James Lundholm.  I have no way of confirming that, but am almost positive he passed on.  Phil Jones might know as he lived in an apartment house they owned in Payson.   Gay"

Since I've received no confirmation either way regarding Victor Johnson, I've also added him to our "Memoriam" page...

July 28 - Posted pictures from Karen Rasmussen Steele and Jay Woodard.

Jane Pulver Hammond (Her email address is JaneyNeil@BigZoo.com ) asks what kind of pictures we want?  Self, Couple, or Family.   Jane, we need any and all kinds of photos - personal, family, kids, your boat(?)...  anything that will describe what you're doing with your life today.  Mail the pics to me:  Jerry Loveless 9811 W. Charleston Blvd #2-422, Las Vegas, NV 89117  or EMail to: JerryL3515@aol.com.  Questions:  Call me at 1-800-265-6070.      And don't forget those bios - we need to get this thing off the ground.

June 23rd.   Please check the "Missing Classmates" section...   I've added those classmates who had bad addresses from the postcard mailing.   If you have any idea where any of these folks are, please let me know.

Archie Kearns told me that he thought Victor Johnson had passed away.   Can anyone confirm that?

I'm leaving for a month and regret to say that I've fallen behind in my work on the class website...  A number of you have sent me bios and a couple have sent pictures but I just haven't had the time over the past couple of weeks to get stuff posted.   I'll be back late next month and I promise to get everything up-to-date.   In the meantime....  Those of you who haven't sent bios please take some time now to write about what you've been doing and get it in the mail to me.   Also, please, please send some pictures - you, your family, your dog...   Whatever you send I'll scan and put on the website.

Take care and have a wonderful, safe and sane 4th of July.

God Bless America.

May 13th.   First responses to the Postcard were from Archie Kearns and James Dixon.   Great to hear from both and you can check it out by clicking on their names.   I'm leaving tomorrow for Italy and when I get home I hope there are many, many responses.   If you email me I'll pick it up during my travels.

May 9th.   Yesterday I mailed postcards to all of our classmates.   The card announced our Reunion as being held in Payson over the Labor Day weekend of 2003, which is what I've discussed with our Class President Bernie Stanton and others involved in the Reunion Planning.   Of course that date can change.

But, my main purpose in sending the card was to verify all the addresses that we have on file - thanks to John Peters, Norm Cox, Gay Deuel and others who've given me updates.

In addition to asking for updates of address, phones & email addresses, the postcard is also requesting those photos and bios.   Are you guys bashful or what????

Had a nice chat with Carol Ann Davis Osborn who went through the lower grades with us but moved to Salt Lake at the end of our Sophomore year.   She's excited about our reunion and says she'll be there!

We're leaving on Tuesday ((14th) for Italy for three weeks.  I'll have my computer along so keep the emails coming.

April 26th   We're back!   Had a wonderful trip - did nearly 100 dives and really enjoyed the part of this wonderful planet under the ocean.  Interesting fact: 95% of all the creatures on the planet live in the ocean.  I'll post some pictures on my personal website for those who might be interested.

Many thanks to Gay Deuel for tracking down Archie Kearns who lives at 18425 N.E. 95th Redmond, WA 98052 425-556-9006.   Now we need to hear from Archie...

March 22nd    Carole and I are leaving today for a month of diving in the Central Pacific - the beautiful Micronesian islands--two thousand tiny tropical islands scattered over more than three million square miles of the Pacific Ocean - If you'd like to see more about this incredible area of the world see my webpage.   In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this website.   I'll be looking for lots of comments and suggestions (including additional info on classmates - email addresses & phone numbers) which you can email to me at JerryL3515@aol.com    See you April 23rd.   Jerry Loveless

March 17   Had dinner at our home with Dan and Karen Seat and Bernie Stanton and his friend Karen.  We had a wonderful evening and talked long into the night about all of you...  Were your ears burning?    We also talked about the upcoming Fiftieth Reunion and hope we can all help to make it a very memorable affair.  To see a couple of pictures go to Dan's page and also Bernie's page.

March 17    Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!   Special thanks to Gay Deuel Young for "finding" Duane Jewett.

3/13/02 Email from Lorraine Gale Underwood.  Click here Lorraine Gale Underwood

3/7/02   EMail From Fearn.   Click here Fearn Vest

3/6/02 - I had a sad phone conversation with Paul Hill's former wife.   Please see details at Paul Hill

3/5/02 -  The complete 25th Reunion book is now posted.   As a word of caution - in order to be able to read the small print, I had to make the individual pages into quite large files.   As a result if you're using a phone modem (28K) it might take you a while to download the pages (maybe 2-3 minutes).   Be patient.

3/4/02 - There were a number of classmates who's pictures were not in the '53 yearbook.   For these folks, when available I've scanned in a picture from our Junior Yearbook ('52).

3/2/02 - On the Introduction page, I'm "begging" for you guys to send me an updated biography.   I've also put up a Sample Biography for those who need guidance....   It's a bit of my twisted humor, but I thought you'd enjoy it.   If it gets you to write yours, then I'll be happy.

2/27/02 - Ancient History.   Some of you may remember the "Reunion Booklet" that we put together for our 25th Reunion way back in 1978.   We'll, I got a copy of it from John Peters (Thank goodness for packrats!) and I've scanned it it.   I was just going to post the whole thing for you to browse - and I may still do that, but then I decided that it might be more interesting to break up the letters and put them on the individual webpages.   So that's what I've done...  For those of you who wrote - you'll find your letter on your personal webpage under the heading:   "25 Years Ago"  . . . .  Enjoy

2/22/02 - EMail From Gay Deuel Young.  You need to add Barbara Johnson Keele to your list of deceased.  She was one of my closet friends from Santaquin and I was shocked to find out she had passed on and I was never aware of it.
